To qualify as a tutor, you are required to demonstrate proficiently with a given subject, which can be accomplished by passing a subject exam or by providing evidence of proficiency (such as having an advanced degree relative to the subject material). If you like to apply as a tutor, please send your curriculum vitae and complete the following tutor application. All tutors listed on this website are considered as being independent contractors.
To qualify as a tutor, you are required to demonstrate proficiently with a given subject. To verify your mastery of a subject, you be required to either pass a subject exam or by providing evidence of proficiency (such as having an advanced degree relative to the subject material).
The duration of each exam is 180 minutes. You are welcome to use any available resources (such as using a calculator and textbooks) to help you complete the exam. You are not allowed to have another individual take the exam for you. Any fraudulent attempts during the exam will result in immediate termination. There is no tolerance in this policy. To qualify as a tutor, you will need to receive a minimum score of 85%. If you fail to meet the minimum threshold, you are welcome to retest again in the subject area in no less than three days. If you fail the exam three times, you will be ineligible to tutoring in this subject.
